'Rushes & Sedges'
16 November 2024
Yundi Nature Conservancy
A little verse provided on the day to help remember the difference between sedges, rushes and grasses.
'Sedges have edges
Rushes are round
And grasses have nodes all the way to the ground'
I acknowledge the Traditional Owners of Kaurna Country where I live and work and recognise their continuing connection to land, waters and community. I pay my respect to them and their culture, and to Elders past and present.
